ANYONE speculating on ITV going FTA in the next few months ( hence saving the hassle and cost of new card )please forget it. A friend of mine is responsible for program planning at Carlton ITV and after she had made extensive enq. ( including engineers etc - who are usually in the know - they have to set up these systems months in advance!) She said there were absolutely NO plans - I Don't want to a smart arse- I just want to save anyone who is thinking of waiting a lot of hassle - the dead line for FTV cards is 31 DEC.
