I'm surprised so few people are mentioning BBC7, which was also available on satellite until the end of May 2003.

OF COURSE there's no justification at all for depriving most of the European continent of satellite reception of ALL the BBC radios. It was done out of good old British spite and we're now the laughing stock of Europe because we've been relegated to the status of second-class listeners who -- unlike the expats of other European countries -- have to make do with (very!) ropy internet reception of BBC radio.

Let's not forget that initially (i.e. in March 2003) the BBC were absolutely adamant that expats wouldn't even get Radio 4 back! They only relented when expats started raising the issue with their home MPs and with ministers.

If you want the other radios back then KEEP SENDING E-MAILS and make your views known to the people who are reviewing the BBC charter.
