Obviously I cannot speak for anyone other than myself but I really do find it unacceptable that I am denied the right to watch the TV of my choice when it is available. Please note that I am not saying that the TV company (or government) has an obligation to ensure that I can receive it regardless of where I am living or whether I want to watch it or not but that when I can receive it I should be free to do so. By free I do mean without charge but at a reasonable cost and without resorting to covert means as we have to do at present.

With modern digital encryption technology it is perfectly possible to ensure that only those who pay watch and to recognise where they live, to pay royality and to charge for the service accordingly. What we have now is the media mogels dictating who shall and shall not watch their programmes on a quite arbitory basis. There is nothing democratic about that and in fact in my opinion it is in absolute contradiction of human rights and against the principals of free trade. In fact an indefensible position and one that i am going to fight!
