- Czesc, we're going to Krakow this weekend, living about an hour away... can you recommend any good places to go? Stayed in the old town a month ago but didn't stray too far out of an Irish bar as they had cider and my friend was desperate to drink cider after being deprived for about 2 months.   - For alternative type stuff go to Jazz Rock club. In the Kazimierz go to a bar called Alchemia and also Propaganda. It's pretty good. In fact, anywhere in the Kazimierz is cool.
