Subject: i think it's only natural to go in musical phases. i have loved r n' r since i was a youngster, too, and i feel a disconnect from the new crop of bands coming up not b/c they're from a younger generation but b/c i don't think most of them are any good. but then i remind myself that's the ebb and flow of time: youngsters right now won't 'get' nirvana or RHCP or pink floyd or the who or the clash. a certain few will but most won't and that's ok b/c every generation needs their own heroes. so what i'm saying is: if you find yourself not as 'into' rock as you once were it's ok b/c we live in a world that has more music in it than just r n' r. you just have to walk out your door to find it. :0)
