Tony Kaye told MTV he will be directing the video for their third Stadium Arcadium-single "Snow ((Hey Oh))". Kaye was also the director of the Red Hot Chili Peppers video Dani California. However, in the music video which as been confirmed as official, the Kaye footage wasn't used.

Instead, it shows a live video of the band at the October 17/18 New Jersey show, along with black and white film of fans at the parking lot and lines who attended the live show.

  • What's happening to the Chili Peppers? (--tucked--) -- obina, 18:41:00 11/07/06 Tue (NoHost/201.53.11.75)

  • Ok, let's be honest for a sec; 1. with the internet and the lack of music they show, MTV as a means for getting music to people is worthless 2. RHCP are at a point in their career where they have an estabished and loyal audience and honestly I don't think a groundbreaking video is going to make that much of a difference for them that said; the video is what it is, a promo clip, it reminds me of Psychadelic Sex Funk Live From Heavan from the MM era (NT) -- Mike, 19:27:13 11/07/06 Tue (ool-44c72234.dyn.optonline.net/68.199.34.52)

  • in reply to what's tucked: no they're not crazy. yes they're comfortable with their situation, which is having the best jobs in the universe. I don't think they're lazy, they're hard working men. (NT) -- krakle, 04:05:21 11/08/06 Wed (cc762211-a.groni1.gr.home.nl/82.73.147.166)
