She flinches at the word as if she had been struck, tongue thick and heavy. Everything was so exaggerated; the lights blared into her eyes, not helping the throbbing pain beating against her skull, and everyone seemed to be shouting into her ear. She was dazed, like a child, unaware of what was going on as the room around her's temperature seemed to rise. She swallowed frequently, sweating, and continually pressing at her head, having obviously suffered a concussion. Her other arm stayed secluded at her chest, however, and she let it hang there limply. "My...my arm and my..." she seemed to grapple with the word for a second. "my head."
