Where have you been, that was like 3 seasons ago! The team is complete, no signings expected. Two recruits coming in next year (see below):

Winters Among Talented Group At St. Thomas More

January 11, 2005
By TOM YANTZ, Courant Staff Writer

Central Connecticut's early signees are playing well. Chris Winters, a 6-foot-7 forward from East Lyme, averages about seven points and four rebounds for St. Thomas More in Montville. Rob Robinson, a forward at the Winchendon School in Massachusetts, is averaging seven points and eight rebounds.

"Chris is shooting 52 percent and is 7-for-16 on threes," said St. Thomas More coach Jere Quinn. "We have a lot of talent and depth at forward with Dwayne Anderson [who has signed with Villanova], Quinton Martin [St. Peter's], Antonio Pena, who's getting a lot of national recruiting attention, Chris Cassidy [Maryland-Baltimore County] and Chris. Though he's only playing 13 minutes, he has been solid for us."

Among Winchendon's players, Tyree Evans has signed with Cincinnati, Slyvester Seay with Arizona State, Ben Brown with the College of Charleston and Justin Dentmon with Washington.

Robinson (6-7, 220) starts at power forward for Winchendon

"He's our best frontcourt defender," coach Mike Byrnes said. "He's very active, covers a lot of ground, is real quick, athletic and physical. He can guard three, possibly four positions."
