"Its hard to even care about this team, because even if they win the NEC, I really dont want to watch them in the tournament..."

Then don't watch and don't care. One less know-it-all critic to worry about reading on a daily basis.

CCSU20M you have a right to your opinions (however unrealistic they may be), but can't you see a the positives, while recognizing they have stuff to work on?

Are you really that disappointed we lost to Niagara, UConn, and Charlotte? Come on, don't you think we should have beat Samford and FIU at home - those were games I penciled in as wins. The 3 games you cite were road games against very tough opponents with NBA caliber talent, senior leadership and yes, height. We are young, small, and often times cold shooting. We need to worry about no bad losses and a top 4 finish in the NEC so we can host a first round game. They are well on their way to having a real shot at another NCAA bid.

Now, other than the 2 bad losses I cited, I think we should never schedule really low RPI teams (250+) like Loyola becasue even with a win it can hurt our seeding in the NCAAs (if we make it) and in years we don't but have some quality wins it would kill any chance at a NIT bid. With the win against Loyola we moved down 25 RPI points and it will only get worse with the NEC schedule.
