oops, hit the wrong button, sorry if there's an empty post.

First let me clear one thing up. I'm not a guide of any kind.I live about 20 mile north of pittsburgh pa. I've only fished for kings for 5 or 6 one week periods over the last three years. I fish erie steelhead about 60 to 70 times a year.

I would love to take your challenge though. Especially if you are going to video tape it, I'd like to make copies and give them to the bait shops to play in the stores. However it would have to be on Oak Orchard or some similar small, clear stream where there ar slow pools that you can watch the fish strike. The salmon river is very tough to fish they way I do, all though I did manage to get one to bite in the slow eddy in the upper hole of the lower fly zone. There were only 8 fish in the slow water, two or three chasers, then a slashing strike from a 20lb female.

There is no guarantee that I will get a vacation time this fall, but I'm shooting for the 3rd week of october, and the 2nd or 3rd week of november. My e-mail in Jim_steelhead@yahoo.com
