沙特應為,事物有兩種存有,一種相對個體以外而言是屬物質的,叫「對己存有」;一個對個體(或人)本身而言的意識上存有,叫「在己存有」。「乍暖還寒時候」,「暖寒」是現任世界中的「現象」,屬對己存有;然而,一「乍」一「還」,人之感官加入,即是「在己存有」。「暖寒」本身屬物理世界,然李清照所言,並不只限肉體上的「最難將息」。「三杯兩盞淡酒」,明顯地是物質世界,「三兩」是寡之數,以「淡」對之,感情上的憂愁,就含蓄地進入了「在己存有」。故賞宋詞,就是賞景中的情,情中的景。

然而,沙特的存在主意,是沒有前設的,沒有上帝的,沒有先於本質的存有,世界是令人作嘔而無法改變的事實,宋詞,也是悲多於喜。
