Aragorn growled, feeling tears spring to his eyes. "You care more about that bird than you do about a person, don't you?"

"This is your own garden Aragorn, you should take care of it well dear." Aragorn smiled up at his moth, his young, childish face filled with joy.
"I will mommy! I promise!" The woman laughed, and ruffled her son's hair. Aragorn smiled, and looked around at the different rose bushes. There was one bush for each color, but Aragorn knew they would spread to fill up the whole garden. he laughed, and ran over to the white roses. "These are my favorite!" The young prince's mother crossed to him, and put a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"They were always mine too. You know, when you were born, Your father gave me a bouquet of white roses."
Aragorn yawned, and rested against his mother's hip. "It's like our special flower mommy." Aragorn's mother laughed, her blue eyes sparkled and shimmered.
"As you wish baby. And they always will be."

"I don't want to see that stupid bird! You can keep him, but I swear if I ever get my hands on him I will get rid of him on my own!" Aragorn growled at the bird, watching it fluster in Legolas' protective arms. 'You're hiding in Legolas' arms, but I swear little bird. You've ruined more than just roses.'
