Legolas stiffened, his eyes hardening. 'He really thinks I'd care more for Elendil then I do for him? I know the roses were his favorite and probably ment a lot to him but I would never care for anything more then him.' Legolas stepped back, glaring at Aragorn. "You won't touch him. It's your fault he attacked you. You kept antagonizing him and you know he doesn't like you. And of course I don't care more for him then you." Legolas blinked, feeling the strange burning sensation in his eyes. 'Why would he think that? I thought he knew I liked him. Maybe it's my fault?' "I thought you knew..." Legolas turned away before Aragorn could see his weakness and ran out the door and to his own room where he closed the door and locked it.
