I was able to sync with my infrared port on my IBM T23 laptop. For some reason I have to try several times before it starts up. Once it starts it works fine. I also finally went out and bought a serial cable for my M515 and so far have had no problems syncing with it. It just doesn't work with the USB cradle. After reading up on all of the problems people have had with swapping out for refurbed ones I'm just going to stick with infrared on my laptop and serial port for my desktop.
