Hi,
I have this hotsync problem with M505 last year in winter, even though in Thailand the electrostatic is not much a prob lem. Palm managed to replace me a new unit after 1.5 months. A week ago (approaching winter now) the problem recurs with this replacing unit and Palm distributor here says no responsibility at all. I talked with a technician and he said to leave the unit to fully discharge and try again, hoping it would work. It it's not I will say goodbye to Palm and switch to Sony Clie or Pocket PC.
