These are so tough to diagnose without actually seeing the systems. It's seems like the unit is not even communicating with the PC. I would say check the Hotsync ID on the problem PC to make sure it matches the unit, or verify the syncronization settings are correct in the hotsync set up, but your saying your not even getting to this point, correct?
