If you plugged the cradle in (both power and PC connetion) and you do not get a green light on the 515 when you plug it into the cradle, it would indicate the 515 is completely dead.

If you can get access to another like cradle on another PC, I would try this for confirmation. If it is confirmed, it appears for some reason the batteries will no longer accept a charge. I would contact a company like

GetHighTech.com to see if they can repair the unit at a lower cost.
