Subject: Palm 515 Dead

 I have a Palm 515 that has been working great for a year. All of a sudden there is absolutely no display. The green light stays on all the time, at least as long as there is a charge (2 or 3 days). Resets, etc. to no avail. Palm says send it back (out of warranty now) Minimum charge expected to be about $125. Could this be a battery problem? I am willing to try replacing the battery if it is suspect. I also have a 505 which uses the same battery and can open it up no problem, but the 515 uses a T5 Torx which I do not have. Anyone have suggestions or experience the same difficulty?
