Subject: Comedy Central on Pittsburgh (City) Cable??

This should be old enough, at least 25 years,

Does anybody recall the main cable system for the City of Pittsburgh in the early 90's, T-C-I (??), having the precursors to Comedy Central such as The Comedy Channel from HBO that featured "Mystery Science Theater 3000," and/or "Ha!;" from MTV's group of networks in a basic or upgraded tier of channels??

The two channels merged about this time in 1991 to form the current Comedy Central. I recall that channel being absent from the Pittsburgh line-up until the late 90's, but suddenly included, largely due to the success of "South Park," as well as other fare such as "The Daily Show," and "Politically Incorrect," before moving to ABC.

One more related question, did anybody in the Pittsburgh city limits have satellite like Direct TV in the 90's and see any of those shows then on Comedy Central??
