Subject: Used to be...

... but not any more.

For as long as I followed O'Brien and Garry, I remember that running catch phrase. They had recordings of famous people saying "But not any more" as responses. To this day, if I say "Used to be" my wife automatically says, "But not any more". For the life of me, I cannot remember where that bit came from. It was just always there.

Do you suppose NOW would be a good time to ask about where it came from?
