Subject: KQV's Bob Wilson - RIP

Received the news yesterday morning that Bob passed away. Bob had cancer surgery in March. Bob Wilson was one of the pioneers of top 40 radio. Bob came to Pittsburgh from KOIL in Omaha. After his many years at KQV he went to 13Q as creative director. He also spent time in Austin and Dallas Texas. His voice will be remembered from commercials as varied as Gimbels, Arbys, Broadway show and so much more. Bob was inducted into the Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame in 2001. Bob had 8 children, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
