It was well into the 90's when NBC would launch it's "Nightside," program that originated from the station in Charlotte that 11 would have the forerunner to HLN. The CNN relationship would diminish further as MSNBC would be launched, plus "Nightside," would go by the late 90's in favor of the network's reruns of Leno, Conan, "S.N.L;" etc as well as infomercials. KQV would air the audio from Headline News in the late 80's after Larry King's overnight show via Mutual Radio moved to WTAE about the time the launched the News/talk format.
