I remember Luncheon At the Ones. In fact, I was watching it on November 22, 1963. I believe the host's name was Alice
Weston. They broke away for the bulletin about the president being wounded, as was thought at the time. When they came back, Ms. Weston was so anxious to get back to her show that she airily remarked about the president---"I'm sure he'll be all right." I never forgot that---it seemed so dismissive.
