That deal was brokered by Ted Atkins. MIX JAMZ needed a morning show and O'Brien and Garry needed a station.

It was a bad fit. O'Brien and Garry fans weren't MIX JAMZ listeners, and MIX JAMZ listeners weren't O'Brien and Garry fans. I don't think it lasted too long, and O'Brien and Garry had their final run back at 1250.
