Subject: How many DJs were also musicians?

I don't remember if anyone ever asked this before. I don't even remember if I did, because it's the kind of thing I'd usually ask. Back in the day of Top 40 radio, were any of the local DJs actual musicians? Did any of them moonlight in a band, or play any instruments, or even sing? I know that when Scott Paulsen first hit the air, he'd record songs himself as comedy bits. Could any other on-air personality have done that if they were so inclined?

I already know that KDKA announcer George Eisenhauer was an excellent baritone vocalist. I heard him sing in community events in Peters Township when I was a kid. I know that Dave James did some local acting. I saw him at Little Lake in The Impossible Years. Were any of the Top 40 or early AOR DJs similarly skilled at other aspects of show business?
