Subject: A to Z stunts

I don't know if this is old enough to be "nostalgia" yet. Does anyone remember back when WRRK played classic rock and they'd play their entire music collection alphabetically, from "A to Z"? I think it was a little over a decade ago. As I recall, it took them over a week to play everything, including a lot of really great sounding songs that never, ever got played any other time.

Did any other Pittsburgh stations ever try a stunt like that? I stopped listening to all "oldies" stations when they just kept playing the same few songs over and over. Does anyone know how many songs a station like 3WS has in their library, including the ones that they never play?
