Is it just me or is Joe Negri not looked upon as a great musician in Pittsburgh the way he is seen elsewhere in the music world? Maybe because he did that role with Fred Rodgers show 'handyman negri'. I know he had a distinctive sound when he played that you could immediately recognize as Joe Negri when you heard it. Maybe the same with Johnny Costa and his piano playing. He did a lot of 'studio' work when KD was doing some live shows ..and of course..with Fred at WQED.
