Great to have you here Karen. It's great to know you have been around sheep your whole life. I was out of town for the weekend so I didn't see your message till today.

Would Shetland sheep do well in Arkansas? We have a few hot summer months and about a month of really cold here. We're beginning to wonder about what would be the best breed of sheep for where we live. We had our Shropshire mama sheared this past spring and are wondering if our lambs will do ok without shearing till next spring. They seem to have a lot of fiber.
