Subject: Fox Sparrow at Pearson Park WOW

Hello All,
Birding from Maumee Bay SP to Oak Openings yesterday (Friday) was less than desirable as the weather was almost continuous rain/sleet/snow. The best bird found in the area was probably a Fox Sparrow at the Pearson Park Windows on Wildlife. 25-30 Pine Siskins remain at the Oak Openings WOW. The largest raft of 350-400 ducks for the day was on a borrow pit near the intersection of I-475 and I-75; all Mallards! See the Ohio Birds list-serve for some Killdeer Plains WA specialty sightings, seen later in the day. Good birding to all!
