I've seen red squirrels. These critters are not red squirrels. It's not like I'm claiming an Ivory Billed Woodpecker or a Do-Do Bird. Although, had I suspected they were minks, I would have stomped it and taken its pelt.

I got the Marten idea from seeing them on TV the very next morning. I had no idea their range when I wondered if it was a Marten.

Just kidding about the mink.
