I cannot recall the year off the top of my head, but I clearly remember a BH vireo nest visible from the Lodge parking lot (eye level) in the late 1990's. The success of the nest is unknown. In fact, Tom, I think you found it (??)--I know you saw it, because you and I "got" it for one of our monthly Big Days that summer---either July or August, and there was a bird sitting on the nest.

Regardless, it is a good (and only slightly reassuring) find, as this species HAS been difficult, especially this year.
