Is it just me, or have people in general been witnessing more occurrences of accipiters, or even falcons, hunting for (and getting) prey this winter? Perhaps because of the particularly arctic winter we're having...?

I don't know for sure, Steward, but if it's of any consolation for losing the W-T, these conditions may be, overall 'net', as hard on the predator birds as the prey birds.
