Here in Toledo, I've noticed several feeder ambushes and frequent sightings of accipiters in and over backyards. During the recent cold snap, I saw a rock dove (I noted the tail) flying away from me with an unusually long wingspan. It turned out the rock dove was a passenger much like Jenny the w.t. sparrow.
