Subject: Sunday fallout

I also had a large fallout of birds in my yard on Sunday.

15 species of warblers, White -crowned, White -throated, and Lincoln's sparrows, thrushes, orioles, grosbeaks and tanagers filled the trees and bushes.

It surprised me then, when I went to Magee Marsh in the afternoon, to find that the fallout did not occur there.

Then on Sunday night, between 10 and 11 pm, I heard large numbers of a variety of birds flying over my house, clearly dominated by thrushes. A short trip to Wildwood Metropark on Monday afternoon produced 20 species of warblers in large numbers.
