I too live in Wood Cty except where I'm at along Beaver Creek my property is heavily wooded; we moved here in '99 and every fall or winter have had at least one visit from the evening grobeaks so it's very possible they just visited you too. PS your sightings yesterday are great! My husband and I were hanging lights with the same dread and also with binos and had nothing newsworthy to report.
