Ivies ran firmly up against the glass ceiling in the quarterfinals

#1 UNC 19, Princeton 10
#2 BC 18, Yale 11
#3 NW 17, Penn 12

The number 1-4 seeds will play in the semis.

A ton of good young players coming back next year all across the league point to another really exciting time, hopefully with another strong run on the national scene.

All four Ivy Womens Lacrosse teams that earned invites to the NCAA Tournament should be very proud of their accomplishments this season. Great programs, coaches and athletes.

Agree with joiseyfan that the league is blessed with young elite talent.

Penn was one goal behind (11-10) in the fourth, and down 15-12 with three minutes left. NW scored twice in the final minute to inflate the score.

Yale led 6-5 early 2Q before BC went on a tear and led by 4 (I think) at the half. BC has a dominant player (maybe the Tewaaraton winner) who asserted herself.

PU kept making small mistakes that you can't do against a deep and talented opponent.

Notice consistency of the scores against these top 3 teams (who among them have 12 of the 25 Tewaaraton finalists versus the ivies' 3). This is actually a good sign of ivy increased competitiveness.

In other news, captcha has now become gotcha.
