A strong weekend for Ivy boathouses at Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Princeton, Brown, Penn.

Women’s Open: Yale wins the final 1V, second to Stanford overall.

Men’s Heavies: Harvard edged out by Washigton in final 1V, in turn barely edges Dartmouth. UW wins team, Crimson second.

Women’s lights: Princeton wins both the 1V and its tenth NC trophy, Crimson second.

Men’s lights: Crimson takes the 1V and its eleventh team title, D second, UPenn third.

The new NC boat in the women’s light 4+, a key ingredient in the Tigers’ team NC, includes four walk-ons. Talk about throwbacks…..
