 so the magical season ended, not with a roar but with a whimper, as per TS Eliot. But that should take nothing away from a great season, starting with three huge injuries to three critical guys, tow of who were out for the year Leion, our best pitcher, and Jeong, an all Ivy caliber infielder). Yesterday’s game was atypical for us; starting pitching with Sheets was fine, but the relievers didn’t get it done, and our bats were silent, while our fielding errors were costly. Classy post game performance in the presser by Brett and company.
