But do you really believe he can compete there?

While Rocco may not receive a lot of playing time at the University of Michigan, Rocco has a number of deep ties to the Wolverines. His dad played on four UM Big 10 championship football teams. Rocco grew up in Michigan and he received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship to attend U-M's medical school. I am impressed by the number of Ivy athletes who use their graduate student athlete experiences to attend elite graduate academic programs.

Our Ivy athletes consistently win on and off-the-field.

Well, he has the opportunity - I am sure he will take advantage of it. Competing does not necessarily mean winning. I, for one, enjoy seeing graduated IL players taking their shot on a bigger stage

I sat near his Dad at the Penn game; Rocco is a very good player who did not get some of the accolades that he probably deserved on last year’s excellent Columbia defense. People tend to overlook just having good we were on that side of the ball. He played a huge part tin stuffing Penn’s very good POY RB.
