Yale has two open dates for 2027.
UConn is not available on either of them, unfortunately.
Based on this year's conference schedules, W&M and Lafayette would also not be available for either open date in '27 (IF this year's PL schedule holds true for next year).
Same is true for UC-Davis and their conference schedule.
Army would be available for the 'middle' non-conference date next year, but let's face it, that's not happening.

Applying Occam's Razor, based on this year's PL schedule, the following teams don't have any announced commitments on Yale's 2027 open dates, and thus they're the most-likely options at this point. Subject to change, of course.

Oct 2, 2027: Colgate (the Vicky Bowl?), Georgetown, Bucknell, Villanova. Local non-Patriot schools possibly available: New Haven and Central CT.

Oct 16, 2027: Lehigh (Cahill's revenge?), W&M, Richmond. Local non-Patriot school possibly available: Bryant.

I say there's TWO open dates next year because while a game with Holy Cross was announced for opening day, that's been replaced by the Albany game.
Nothing has been announced yet regarding moving or canceling the Holy Cross game. HC probably has an opening on 10/16, so maybe it moves to that date.
Again, this is all dependent upon how the Patriot League in-conference schedule for 2027 compares to what they put together for 2026.
