Kitaro - Ok, now were getting to the meat and potatoes. So, you say we provided training and weapons to the Taliban. I'm not involved with the military and my understanding of it doesn't go very deep. That's their job. So, why was the US providing those resources to the Taliban, and in return what were we to gain from it? I can't simply side with pacifists because the US has traded arms, and militaristic information. I need to understand the whole arrangement. At the same time I have yet to join the US war machine, for the very same reason. However, there seems to be pretty substantial proof that the men who hijacked the planes on 9/11/01, and destroyed 3000+ innocent lives, worked towards the Al-qaeda jihad.
Honestly, I am open to an alternative idea, but please provide a theory in it's entirety. Not just buzz words like, "...government has found pockets of the planet in which we can work the insideous plan of taking over their culture...", or, " our government has aided, armed, and trained, such people as the Taliban. The CIA, our Ambassadors, and Congress and Presidents have handed out candy with one hand and expected unfaltering allegiance with the other for decades. They never cared in any country where they did this, from Central America to Africa, to Afghanistan, about the common people who lived there and believed in our help until they saw it had strings."
You did a god job of listing some some political boudaries of planet earth, but you failed to provide a particular occupation. (i.e. date, reason of occupation, US gains in trade)
So Kitaro, I appreciate your partial explanation. It's one piece of possible evidence that does require more information to be provided. I'm not denying your accusations have and do happen, but, please provide me some examples of why it's a rotten deal so that I can quit being the ultimate example of idiocy for Americans.
