Subject: Gel Nail Info

Just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for this highly informative web site. I am a client who due to nerve damage (at least its what I'm told) has lost what used to be a pretty set of fingernails. Much to my hiusband's delight I finally got disgusted enough to try to do something about it. After an eight month odessey into acrylics I took the last set off myself - I couldn't STAND them. Way too thick and phony looking no matter what technician I used. Plus the bonding agents had etched the fill lines into my own nails. Had it not been for this web site I never would have even known about gels. because of you, I hunted down a salon and INSISTED on these rather than the acrylic and so far I am THRILLED with the result. I have what I was looking for - just something to support my own nails so they could look normal again.
Is there any special care that these require that acrylics do not other than regular fills ? Can they take a bit of abuse? My sister-in-law loves mine but she is afraid they will break faster than her acylics since they look so much thinner.

Thanks again for your page. This is a WONDERFUL service.
Kelly
