She just needs to have sparkle and that something special which makes her stand out above the rest. Girls can win without an expensive gown, expensive pictures, or any tootering. While you are taking your notes, you should interview past and present contestants, ask them of their experiences as most would say they learn many different things during a competition like this. Many come back to compete again and I bet you will get a variety of answers to what part of the competition is their favorite. No, a crown doesn't make a young lady, but going through life with memorable experiences will.
