Subject: Best Solar or Wind Solution?

Hi

I want to set my boat up to live on the hook. Now, I run a refrigerator, lights , and computer. I want to ad a watermaker soon. I have four 12V 100ah batteries. I have room for 2 more. I figure with the watermaker, I’ll need about 8amps. Dose anybody have any experience with wind generators and solar panels? My total budget is $2000
