Subject: TRANSDUCERS ?

I have a 27' Hunter Sailboat 1981. The depth finder don't work, so i bought a Cuda 300 fishfinder sonar. I was wondering if anyone here knew the best place to mount it and how. I hit a rock one day and i don't want to hit anymore rocks. :-)
