I've got to third that.

Bill, good to see you over here! Glad to see I'm not the only heathen scoundrel over on Plastic Classics... (Grin)

The Phrf ratings are worth looking at as well... Not so much for top speed, but average sailing speed in around 10 knots of wind. The CCA boats fudge a little because the waterline, and thus top speed... are different once heeled. This means down wind they are pretty dang slow. Off the wind or up wind once heeled over 10 degrees or so they start making time.

I'm looking into going mast head rigged on the Triton, with the stock size mainsail I like battens... just not the pockets, SPLASH. Performance vs cheap and low maintenance... anyway... loads more square footage on the head sails genny.

he Triton is around a 255... but ghosts quite nicely once you build up some momentum and trim the sails till the tiller on centerline or close. Get her heeled over first and foremost!

I can't wait to see what she'll do with out dragging a prop!

Zach
