Subject: 40th Birthday party

It's knocking at the door, and regardless of various offers, I'd like to offer this.

I'd like to have it here at this site in Hawaii, for a couple of reasons.

It's hardly a camp-out, because it's the tropics and there's showers, more or less unlimited booze, and ahi in season.

At this point in my mind, full of gin, I'd like to invoke the short list of those who have been especially valuable to me.

Mike, of course.

Ari
My Pop, if he can stand the rest of you. No one was there for his 40.
Patrick, for sure, as fish murdering is part of the gig.
Others, don't get bent, just ask.
And local.

It will be a rager, for sure. The only rule I offer is a no-girls-allowed rule, not for any reason, except being 40 I understand that while the best times of my life didn't necessarily involve women, the worst did, and that will be reflected in the party.

Anyhow, starting the conversation. I will need help getting it all together.
