It would be one hell of a mule that can pull a 3000 lb load two miles up a grade in 2 minutes. I'm getting basically the use of 150 mules for that cup of oil, something utterly inaccessible by any practical measures.

Again, I think you're vastly understating the real value of the energy you're getting out of that cup of oil, and why it's preposterously undervalued.
