I think so. I'd expect not to see oil rise as much as to start to see spot shortages. In the US Hawaii will be hit first. You can count I'm prepared.

It's going to be a pretty big deal here, and not so funny pretty quick. This island is very very fertile, but utterly un-productive, and there's nothing in place to weather it, 'cept of course here in fern forest.

The big problem is that profitability in general has only hung in there on near free energy costs and near free labor. Both must rise. There's no more oil production to squeeze out of the ground, and if you treat your help any worse people will starve.

It's a cusp. Take pictures, pay attention.
