Subject: Corbin married Johnson in Lismore 1911

My great grandfather came for England in 1961. His name was James Bentley Corbin and he married Margaret Mary Clancy at Concord in 1868. They had 9 children. Their eldest Harry James Corbin (registered as Harry at birth and as Henry on his death) married a Barbara Ellerston Woolacott from Victoria in 1901. They had one child registered as Ernest James Corbin. Harry died in 1908 and his son is shown on his death certificate as 3 years old.

In 1911, Barbara marries Horatio Ernest Johnson the youngest of 13 children. He has 13 children himself before marrying Barbara Corbin. It appears they may have lived at Bangalow. She is shown on the family tree as I have been informed by a descendant. There is no mention of the child Ernest. I have searched http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/ but to no avail.

Would it be possible to trace Barbara Johnson's death in the area or that of her son Ernest who may have had his name changed to Johnson. As a family we are concerned about what happened to Ernest and if he had any offspring and so living relatives today. I am considered the family historian and am currently building a website which is in my signature below. We have located over 300 descendants of James Bentley Corbin living or dead and if we can locate this family, we'd be thrilled.

Thank you

Regards
Ruth Helen van Aaken nee Corbin
